Major cuteness factor!!!

Oh my these are way to cute for words! I have 4 call duck eggs due soon. It's the only 4 of 18 shipped & set. But I am so looking forward to them hatching!

It's hatch day in our home. We've got 6 of 22 out of their shells (some aren't due for another day or so). Our first hatched last night after dinner and we've got a few more with pip's in the shells. One of the 6 had to be assisted because it was taking so long, it was getting dried to the shell. I just don't have high hopes for "O" - she's not looking good like the other 5.....soon to be 6 - I literally have "J" half-way out of the shell at the moment.

Here are my first 5. They are all barnyard mixes - BO & BR roo's over RIR, BR, EE, BSL.....

I am probably wrong - but "J" just popped out -looks like a pure BR.........

I just love "Nemo" - the biggest and fluffiest one. She hatched first and she's so big and strong now. You can see the EE in her - but her daddy is definitely Nugget - my BO roo......

I was so curious what they would look like - they are way cuter than I anticipated!

Most of the inferts were mix eggs the seller threw in for free. I had tried to order 40 -or as close to as she could get- from her two flocks. Her RIR did just fine but her buff brahmas went on strike. Only 3 of the RIR had to be removed and one of those was a blood ring.

Killing me!!!! I need the next week to move on by already!!!! Cannot WAIT!!! My mo got me a baby playpen to use as a brooder til I can find a good armoire to turn into my "pretty" brooder!!

I cant wait to see pics of this armoire brooder
