I will need to be tied to the tree in about 3 more days....lockdown!!!

Sad thing is, is I have like 3 doz already in the waiting!! LOL!!!

well i have been cool all day. I even had to leave the house most of the day, no problem. Now I am starting to feel like the nervous father. I have 26 eggs and there are7 peeping now. The first holes appeared this morning and none have broke out. there are alot who haven't even peeped but I know it is still early. I will not get too stressed until tomorrow night. I am anxious to see some babies. The first batch I hatched was the same way, the first one didn't come all the way out until 2:00 in the morning. Still one is starting to peck the circle out, maybe before I go to bed. Luckily i live close enough to work I can come home at lunch tomorrow and check in.

These two have hatched and are now running around and turning the other eggs around. I learned my lesson last time about opening the incubator. I am in lock down and have to be patient right!!!

How long can they stay in the incubator safely?

Three out of the shell and several more looking close. I guess those first two got the others going. Don't guess I'm going to get much sleep tonight.

They can stay without food/water for up to 3 days.
And usually all the eggs have hatched by then.
