Nothing to be nervous about

. As long as there were no external pips humidity is a non issue. They will be fine

Thank you Adam!! That makes me feel a lot better. I am so scared, they have worked so hard to grow to this point just to have me drown them!!
Just had a little Phoenix chick die.. It had made a huge hole in the shell and stayed in there for a long time. It finally came out but after about 5 mounted it started gasping and died. His bottom area was very pushed out.
Awwww PF, I am sorry... that is terribly sad.

ok, I read these responses, jumped up, took the top off the incubator, all the eggs out onto my bed, threw away the now wet paper towels and chucked the mat, added back the jar with fresh warm water and put the tube in the jar from the outside. I loaded everything back up the way I had it but dry now, loaded the eggs back in (I SWEAR number 7 moved on its own....husband thinks i am crazy) and closed it back up....now we wait....I threw my hands up in the air and said "DONE!" and my husband who is laying in bed playing PS3 while I am flipping out laughs and says, "it's like you were a rodeo person tying up a calf...AND DONE!"....I said yeah, more like a rodeo clown at this point.....

I feel like I could throw up I am so nervous!!!

Well I candled my broodies eggs, I see one that has great potential but still not quite sure. I only brought 2 in to see what if anything was going on. The two I brought in there is defentaly a chick in both, but they're not moving, I see no internal pips or anything. So I'm just wondering if we will get anything. I just looked at the calendar and we will have to wait till after spring break to set more under somebody, so our luck no one will want to sit. I guess we will have to just wait and see.

But I still have 42 eggs in bator, humidity is 35-40%, temp is 99.5-100, I am trying to turn them at the same time everyday, going on day 4. So I guess they are doing fine? I got everyone all shut up again, on lockdown outside, weather is coming in again

So glad things are going so well for everyone!

7 more are peeping inside the shell and have cracks in them. Another Phoenix egg has a hole in the membrane and you can see his little beak pulling at it. Hoping all goes well with this Phoenix chick. I feel like its my fault over the other dying. I know I shouldn't try to pull them out of the shells since it will hurt them but I could've and it may have saved him. All the other healthy babies think of me as momma bird. They all come running (as best as they can. More like wobbling very fast) when I walk by or put my finger in the brooder.
