There's the big baby sitting on it's behind. It doesn't look that much bigger..still fluffing out.
I can see that it is the biggest, but not as big as I thought it would be. Pretty strong.

I think it's been all day. I thought I seen it at 100, got home this afternoon and checked it and eggs feel very warm/if not hot and temp was over 106 and nothing is moving. I should have a 99 lumens light coming tomorrow. Will check them again with that one. Blah.

I will be keeping my fingers crossed that those eggs make it!!!!!

Do you know what happened to cause that type of temp change?
My step daughter is alright, something about swollen lymph nodes. I got home from taking my husband up to the hospital because I brought our son home so he could go to sleep, and got my sister to come over so when I had to go back I could go. Was able to read through post and then had to go get him. I am thankful that she is ok!!!!
My husband added alot of water in the troughs of the incubator, so much that water was getting on the eggs, will that hurt them? I got a rag and blotted some of the water through the wire, so now it's not touching them.

does this chick look like a frizzle? this is one of my TSC chicks, my fav. it's feathers started coming in & they curl backwards? since I've never actually seen a frizzle except in pics, I don't know- but it looks like I would think they would

Those bigger chicks can hold temps longer in the egg that the smaller embryos. Don't give up faith, the eggs in my incubator were cold and temp was 74 in mine. I had quite a few hatch from those eggs.

Everyone Thanks for all the encouragement and kind words Guess we will all see if anything hatches Thursday Another lesson anyway ,.you learn as you go each and every hatch .
Well one good thing while i had it down i cleaned it out .Had 2 hatches back to back and this one too it was dirty!!....so now its sort of clean when i get them back in.

Hope everyone else has good luck today and we got all the bad luck cleared out now and gone.

OH...I gotta tell you all too....when i went to clean the bator water dripped every place ( WHAT???) a dang MOUSE I believe had chewed a hole in the center bottom of the styrofoam batorl
Where he came from and why he did that in the dead center i dont know and how it got under a 1/2inch or less space under the bator but what else could it be and my cat does get a mouse now ansd then....in my closet to!! I gotta get some dcon.
Plugged it with with plastic wrap for now. GGRRR
Hope the wet rags hold enough water to keep the humidity up I think they will
Its raining here too.they said we'd have wind no wind yet ..... all I need is an outage!.. all the bators full... Well if that happens you have to either laugh or cry and i know i would laugh from disbelief as it would be too much in one day

whoohoo I won some eggs I wanted! I had bid on one set, but lost them. Then a while ago I found a better set and got them! Silver laced wyandotte 18 plus eggs- I've never had any, but think they are pretty birds. They were my Grandma's favorite, allong w/ her buff orps. I have 2 buffs, one named Alma & the other is Alta- after my gramdma & her sister

I'm not sure, it has a yellow head & tummy w/ a red back- the wings are coming in a peach color?
