Is it ok to secure the eggs with rubber bands so they don't move around? I read on a thread that it was good to use rope but I only had rubber bands so do I take the rubber bands off so the egg can move around or do I leave it?

I have just left my eggs. The chick spins in the egg to zip around it. They will run into and fall over the other eggs but they are fine. I would be afraid the rubber hand would slip off and go around a chick or they would try to eat it.
