Aloha all! I’m hatching My very first Bantams! And they’re due to hatch VALENTINES DAY
They were listed as Calico, Millie , mottled bantam Cochin and I’m very excited! I have 14 eggs and all but possibly two seem to be growing lovely veins! I posted pics of their eggs and the flock they came from which is gorgeous!!

I had to toss out 6 eggs that quit , one I just couldn’t tell yet. But had 7 bouncing baby bantams in there growing

SHE GOT OUT OF THE SHELL ON HER OWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SO HAPPY EVEN THOUGH I WAS A STUPID DUNCE TRYING TO HELP HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It happens. What feels like forever most times isn't. I have done it too. Then I had one I didn't do a safety hole in time so there can be times it is needed. Glad she got out!!!!!

Ok, so the chicky is doing mostly fine. But she seems to be kind of weak or something because she had her feet curled up and she was peeping and flopping. it's just weird that's all so I'm wondering if I should try feeding her chick crumble and water. Just wondering because I don't want to lose this one too. Please tell me what I should do!

It takes them a bit to get their little legs and feet to cooperate with them after being squished in an egg. Give her time and she should perk up. Mine basically sleep the first day

The chicks went to their home today. . Now the count down till I get my shipped eggs and can set those. Here are the pics I got of them all. Some are in a couple pictures and I got 3 of different angles of my favorite one.
