I'm on lock down since Sunday Evening. 1 button quail pipped for about 24 hours. Its still active. So I'm giving it time.

I am not sapoused to go on lock down for a few more hours but one of the eggs pipped in the turner so they are, as of about 10 mins ago, on lockdown. The one that piped was one of my own but when last candled the others from the swap were growing.

I don't go on lockdown until the 20th... My eggs didn't go in the 'bator till late on the 2nd...

I go on lockdown this weekend if I haven't fried my eggs!

I came home last Thursday and my incubator had spiked to 105; I don't know how long it had been that hot--was okay the night before and there has been no problem since.
I candled but it's hard to see in the dark eggs; I could detect some movement in one for sure but haven't candled again in the last couple of days.

I have 2 of my own out and one from the swap zipped and can see the chick is dark colored. I wish now I had not put some of my own in there with them. Going to be hard to keep them apart now. I just hated to waste the space since I have so many people wanting to buy from me.
