I would make a place (dog crate or something) for her inside the house. Incubation is 21 days from when she starts sitting. I would be nervous about leaving her with the other chickens....

I have a pair of Salmon Favs I hatched from pasofinofarm .. and a Wheaton Ameraucana. She has really nice birds.

The EEs I ordered from upintheholler .. in virginia. The marans eggs I picked up from someone toward houston .. Last minute to fill the bator...

Talked to our builder tonight .. told him we HAVE to get in that house .. 23 chicks in an apartment isn't going to work for long .. LOL. I managed to raise 5 up to 4 weeks old before ... but 23 ?!?!?!? This should be fun ..

I agree she does have really nice eggs & a great setup at her place too! Can't wait to see my new chicks. I really thought about having her dh add a half dozen of the wheaten americans to my carton.​

sold 208 chicks this morning and dumped 108 eggs back into the 1202 today, australorps and light brahmas, with some brown egg hybrids thrown in, and I have the next 4 or 5 days to collect cuckoo marans from a friend of mines place, by sunday the bator will be packed to the gills again

YAY! I candled again... bad little monkey couldn't wait until day 14 and it looks like I have 4 of 7 developing!

I'm so excited!! Even if I get 2 of them to hatch I will be ecstatic!! Y'all were right... the light wasn't bright enough. Made myself a candling box and viola!

I got my incubator today! I am now awaiting next week when I will be getting a dozen salmon faverolles eggs.
