FEBRUARY Hatch-A-Long, come join in!!

Awesome! I never thought to leave them in the tray for hatching like that. Does it work well? It would make sense that they wouldn't be rolling around bouncing into each other.

This is the first time I've done it like that... I did a bunch of reading up and almost everyone seemed to think it works really well. I cut the lid and tabs off and cut the sides down about 1/2 way, I would also cut a little hole in the bottom of each. So far it's working great for me!

Congrats on the early hatching of your chicks:thumbsup. I have also read in my Hova-Bator directions that if you have early hatchlings the bator is a little warm. O-well, I hope for a few chicks to hatch early, because the suspense is killing me:barnie

HI well i had one hatch earlier this month...chinese new years and now maybe will have one sunday/monday....these poor eggs my GQF turner jammed as the legs for the bottom unknown to me were jammed in the back...how they got there is also unknown but couldnt get them out so my poor eggs incubated with no turning for a few days...then i put them in my little brinsea and fixed the gqf and now have them back in there as the humidity for hatching is superior in the sportsman...so maybe i will have some buff silkies monday ..keep your fingers crossed for the little buffs...Chris
