Ok I just checked my duck eggs that I set on Wed Jan 31st

wow what a clear view of the embryo! Ok so the pic is a little fuzzy, but I could see the heart beating! Absolutely wonderful, and out of 12 there was only 3 that I couldn't clearly see growth. So excited.

Omg. I’m very ashamed to admit, I just dropped one of my fertile eggs on day 15. I feel like a jerk. I wanted to snap a picture of the growth. Never never again.

that is what i did on my first hatch one of the eggs i was really happy to have in the incubator i dropped it and it was fertile i felt so bad sorry about your egg good luck with your hatch

i am getting a new heating pad for my chick today and i want to make that thing where the chick can go under and she fills like she is under a mother hen does anyone have any ideas on a way to do that

Mine have that! I got a 13$ heating pad with always on function ( make sure it has that) and put it on one of those small coated wire shelves that you put in a kitchen cabinet for storage. You can do a search for " mama hen brooder" and find lots of information about it too.

Yes I. was only able to hatch two, so I'm thinking of ordering more from a hatchery.
