Not sure when my hatch will happen since it is happening under hens. I had left them with 9, I was lifting every day to be sure, quit checking because the girls were getting unsettled. Yesterday I checked again and they had 13! Little stinkers!

Well this is day 22 for me and the first black Australorp of the 5 remaining eggs is breathing, but not all of the way out of the shell yet.

That first chick didn't make it. It never completely got out of the shell and stopped breathing. The other 4 eggs haven't even cracked open the shell, so if they don't do it within the next couple of hours, I guess I will have to throw them out. Today is day 23.
