February/March Grow-a-long

Pics
My wife said tomorrow we are going and looking at getting more chicks...i built a coop for more than double my anticipated chicken requirement and now I'm worried it's to small
I did the same and with what I keep this year it will be too small. Finally convinced my husband to expand. Lol. I was going to start with 10.... Now have 20, not counting the tons of chicks (most will be sold) and eggs in the incubator. Lol

A milestone day around here... They are moved outside to the coop.

Some of my March babies, they are in that ugly stage of getting feathers, losing fluff etc. A couple are pretty much fully feathered out but the lav brahmas and BB brahmas look horrible. Lol

Oh and they met some of the big ones with supervision today and my 1 yr old roo called them over for a "treat" and was sooo good with them!!!

Update: everyone doing great in the coop. I can tell my buff is mostly likley a roo too because my mottled houdan keeps at him and sort of keeps him on the outliers of the group. The houdan is surprisingly looking to be a good roo as far as I can tell. He’s tries to convince the flock when to go to the coop, keeping everyone in check already and does not tolerate foolishness from the others.
