They do look cool when you candle them. Mine did not take very good pictures though I think I need more light on the Camera when I candle.

Love to see yours when you next candle them next!

Ok I candled and 3 were clear 6 blood ring, 2?? rest looked good. Blood ring Blue eggs looked like this Veins Green egg Veins Veins Blood Ring Veins Green egg veins Green egg hard to see Veins Bloodring That makes 33 eggs still in incubator 3 of them ??? Did not want to post all the pictures cause most look about the same.
Are you positive that those were blood rings? One of my eggs looked like that. Couldn't see any veins but it did have a little dark spot. I had to make room for a couple new better chance eggs so I took it out. When I candled it just looked so much smaller than the others. Plus all the others were wriggling and this one was just completely still each time I candled. I cracked it opened and it all kind of just fell apart but it did seemed to have veins and a little blob with two semi dark spots. I'm worried I may have murdered that poor little embryo. But when I candled it it looked exactly like your blood ring pics. Did you crack those open? Did they have little embryos? I'm on day six by the way. I would have kept it in if only I had a bigger bator.

So crap. We lost power yesterday morning about 6:30 am. didn't wake up until 8:15.

Got the bator wrapped in towels and next to our woodstove. Except you can't regulate that heat very well so I've either chilled or cooked them. power came back on about an hour ago. Got it plugged back in, realized they're supposed to go into lockdown tonight, tapped off the water well and am just gonna step back and cross my fingers.
Hope everyone else is have a less stressful go of it!
it might be a good idea to keep closed mason jars with water in them in the incubator. if the heat source goes out, it will circulate the heat it had collected from the original heat source.
