Febuary hatch a long

day 7: i just candled my eggs!

as far as i can tell, 17/18 are fertile and all but one are in the correct position (one may possible be upside down)
so it's going good! i'll keep an eye on that one bugger :)
 
Trying to keep up with everyone is not workin ...day 7 candling was pretty good lost 3....2 clear one very red blood ring I will post pics I have wiggling going on in the test with good air sac development. :)
 
I don't know what to do with mine. I don't see any veins in any of them but there is some kind of development. I can't see any air sacs but the clear places in the eggs are at the pointy ends. None of them smell. Don't know if it's just because they are brown that I can't see.
 
my brown ones i candled today looked kinda like tht too. i could only see the veins in the white one. can u try to tilt them or turn them to see the air sac?

one Delaware have hatched so far despite the electric being out and the woodstove being iffy on heat regulation! I've named them power and outage lol

if the bantam cochin hatches I'm calling it woodstove lol

It is hard to candle brown eggs. If you see development ther should be fine.
 

Here's a picture of one of my eggs that has a really bad air cell.
Never seen one like this before.

Out of the 8 eggs that I have left 5 are somewhat normal shaped, 2 are saddle, and then this one.
