Just wondered what I should do?
My hens have gone to roost just now, should I put feed and water in the coop overnight? 4 are roosting high up and two are in nest boxes.
These are 'point of lay pulletts' only 19-20 weeks old and I only have them 3 days.

I keep my feeders and water full. Daily. Doesn't matter when you do it as long as you do it.

I keep water and feed inside the coop and accessible 24/7. In fact, I have two waterers inside (one large, one small), and two outside, and two separate feeders, because the hens near the top of the pecking order won't always let the younger/lower ones near it. Hens can be so mean.

I don't like keeping feed in the run because other critters take it away. Chipmunks, mice and red squirrels can make it through the fence, and they're little pigs.

Thanks for that peeps... very helpful.
Going out to put it in the coop now:cd
