Feed and water in my coop?

Oh! Thanks! I'll probably do that when my chicks are old enough to go in the coop and run!

Well I would feed in the coop incase it rains your feed won't get wet. If you use the standard feed container. That's one of my reasons why I do.

This is one of those questions to which there is no one right answer. A lot will depend on your specific setup, the type of feeder you use, etc. If the feeder will be uncovered outside, you will want to select a feeder that will protect the feed from rain, moisture, etc to prevent wetting/spoiling of the feed. If your coop is a raised coop, you can hang the feed/water containers under the coop, providing a reasonable amount of protection from the elements. Will your flock be kept confined to the coop at night? If so, at what time will you be out to release them so they would have access to feed/water if kept outside of the coop?
