Thought it would be worth mentioning that using bucket waterers with drinking nipples has proven to be my saving grace. Absolutely the greatest thing I have done to keep the water very clean. You could build a tripod of wood or PVC to hang it by.

I started using this tube feeder and they eat every morcel without spilling anything.

I hang our waterers; I have them about a foot off the ground now, but they STILL get junk in them!! When I stumble on the perfect solution, I'll be sure to let everyone know!
