feed change question

hello,

i recently ran out of feed from my hens, it was a grain ration with oyster shell mixed in. i recently found a feed store closer to my home so i went and got a layer ration there and it is shur gain layer crumble and i bought a bag of oyster shell to supplement. they dont eat very much as they free range all day but i have noticed that shell and yolk colour has changed quite a bit they both went pale. should i go back to my old feed or stick this out and see if things will change?

I would switch back to the other feed. It sounds like it was better.
