Long day here. Temps are nice and so far the rain has skirted around us. In all honesty, we could use a good downpour as it hasn't rained in about a month. So we went back to the woods and pulled out two loads of firewood from a tree that snapped in half during strong winds two months ago. Really strange. The tree was healthy, no defects. The wind just snapped it off about 10 feet above ground.
So
@BigBlueHen53, you have Aztec blood in your veins? Cool. Hey, native blood is native blood. I read a meme on Pinterest once that said, never say you are just 1/2, or 1/4th native American. If you have one drop of native blood in your veins, you are native. Be proud of it.
Shoulder this morning. Sigh.Slept with my circulating ice water pump on it last night. Ice is one of the few things that does give me some relief. I'm still having pain when I use it. Frustrating because about a month ago I could do simple things, like put a roll of paper towels up on the holder and not have any problems but now I am. For sure I'm going to have to talk to somebody in the surgeons office before I see my PT late next week. Ain't no way I'm going in and picking up where I let off until this bursitis is under better control.
@grannyhatchet, you don't need to take any crap off of anybody yet alone a mouthy pet groomer. I wouldn't turn my animal over to one like that nor would I take it back there. Has to be other groomers around that would be thrilled to have you as a client.
Need to go out and water the birds. One of my little bantam hens is spending time in the sick pen. She's lame and not wanting to use one leg. She likes to jump straight up in the air to grab a treat out of my hand or climbs the chain link fence to grab a treat through the fence and must have come down wrong. I can't find any breaks, swellings or dislocations in it so I hope it's just a bad sprain.
