I have 10 Buff Orpington chicks, they are now about 6 weeks old and I am almost out of the starter medicated feed crumbles. Do I need to buy another 50 lb bag of the same feed, or do I need to get a different kind? They are still inside as the nights have been really chilly. If it warms up above 70 and no cold wind, I let them out on the lawn with their feed and water.

It also sounds like they could go outside now. Mine go out at 4 weeks as long as it is above freezing, wind or no wind. They shouldn't need heat at all at 6 weeks, especially if you are getting 70 degree temps.

I have six, two month old isa browns, and I'm just feeding them plain chick grower crumbles from Tractor Supply and they're doing fine. (I'm fairly new to this whole chicken-raising thing, so I'm not sure how much help this is.)

You don't need medicated feed.
They will still eat chick food, flock raiser, crumble.

To get them to really eat if you're having any issues, wet their feed down just a little to make it slightly damp. Only downside is it packs down and you have to dig it out later.
