Feed predator

Don't feed the predators. It just makes them habituated to humans and reliant on you for food. That can only lead to bad things, like the death of your chickens, injury to yourself or people in the house, or the predator.

I strongly believe in livestock guardian dogs. Great Pyrenees are really great with birds.

Not only should you not feed any predators because that will just draw them in and make more - you should also not leave any food out around your run and coop. Only put out what they can eat and clean up anything they don't. Cover any food you leave out or bring it inside overnight. You do not want anything that would attract predators to your chickens. Throwing scraps and scratch out in the yard and leaving it will get you serious rat problem pretty quickly, not to mention mice which can bring snakes; plus possum and raccoons. Chicken feed and treats should be stored in a metal container with a lid.
