$29.48 for 50# scratch and 50# layer crumble
lost the receipt so I don't remember the price each
Little higher than the last time I bought it

I'm in Aroostook County Maine. Last time I bought feed was about 2 weeks ago--- nearly $15 for grower pellets (50#) and Chick Starter both.. ( $14-something over half a dollar, but I forgot by the time I got home because I hit a pole in their parking lot as I was leaving and got flustered!)

I can't get 50# bags any more. They are now 40# bags of layer pellets and the price just went up to $9.09. Last summer it was $8.49 for 50# bag.

Depending on where I shop here a 50# bag of feed is $12.75 to $14.50

I'm paying $12.50 for a 50# bag of 22% layer pellets.

The average to this point is $11.79/50#
If you're below that, then youre lucky. If above, well, not.

This discounts the flyers at $30/bag and the organic. For those people, sorry, you have my sympathies. But you appear to be exceptions, not the rule.

I usually drive up to NC to get the Blue Seal chick/game starter.......50# $14.40.
I ran out and the feed store up there didn't get their shipment in so at TSC the Dumor (which my chicks hated) cost me $14.49 for 50#.
I haven't bought scratch feed since January and don't want to dig out that receipt but I bought 100 lbs then and still have about 25 lbs left.
Crimped oats for the horse and chicken treats was $12.95 for 50#.

I guess it is time to roll pennies to think about having to buy more and pay more this winter.
