We are raising Cornish Crosses they are 4 weeks old. We are feeding them Scratch and Peck chick starter. We want to keep them on organic feed but it’s difficult trying to find organic broiler feed in smaller quantities that doesn’t cost an arm and leg. My 8 week old pullets are eating scratch and peck grower feed it’s 17%. Is that ok to switch them to? Thanks!

They will grow slower

So would it be better to just keep them on the starter?
The slower they grow the healthier they are though. They will be growing slower on regular chick starter anyway. At least mine did.
Also depends on how big of a bird you want.
Yes if you want to harvest at 8 wks. Otherwise they will be ready closer to 10 or 12 wks.
