How long can feed be kept before it should no longer be fed to chickens if it's kept in a Ziploc(not in the dark)?

Wish I could help you, but I go thru about 50 lbs a week so have never even thought about it. Why are you needing to store it and for about how long do you think you'll need to?

I think I've read here that you should only store feed for 2 months. That being said I've kept mine for up to 6 months without problem. I think it would depend on where you are located. If you are in a very humid climate or are storing in a wet area that could significantly decrease your storage times. If you are worried about it can you split feed with someone, buy smaller quantities, or store in a freezer? Never feed wet or moldy feed.

South Bay in California, so not that humid. I'll see if we can fit in the freezer, which is very unlikely in our case(too much stuff, lol)
