I just picked these cute little things up at the feed store. I've no clue what the Orange Easter chick is, but the little light guy came out of an assorted bantam bin, I am assuming it's purebred. I know the store gets their birds from Privett Hatchery. They had tons of little cute ones, but he was the prettiest with the most feathered feet. I am sure it's too early to sex either of these.

I also bought 2 other easter babies for a friend, 1 had a pea cmb and the other had a rather pointy single comb, it almost looked like a really small version of a turkey comb, so apparently they use more than 1 breed

The orange one is it a bantam because if it isn't Im guessing leghorn I think thats what most easter chicks are aren't they?

Well the other 2 easter chicks i bougth after this one looked totally different, one had a pea comb and the other had a single but wasn't as long looking in the body. theyre all very mellow though

Pic 1 - poss a white leghorn
pic 2 - chick on the left, the feathers and naked neck look like showgirl, but it has pink skin and no foot feathers. Either a mix or a showgirl that is showing more of the turken features. The chick on the right looks like a cochin.
the rest of the pics look like repeats from different angles.

Yes, the one on the left in picture #2 is a little naked neck pullet. I am almost positive on LH for the orange one, and was thinking maybe cochin for the tiny one but don't know what color it will turn out to be...

anyone have any ideas on color of the little guy?

peepsnbunnies, The reason the feathering on the little NN looks like a showgirl is because they are baby feathers.

Oh, your little one certainly looks to have a blue tint.
