Feed store...... MORE PICS ADDED**

so i saw all your posts about the feed store.
well i had to get electrolytes for my chicks that will be hatching tuesday, and when i walked in i was the "CHICKS ARE HERE" sign,. i said to myself "sara just turn around, u can go to co-op to get the vitamins.
but no the chicks drew me in. and i ran into another byc member while i was there, she was looking at them too.
tsk tsk. we talked each other into chicks....
i ended up with 4 banties...
I DONT NEED BANTIES...
i think this is what they are:
1 sebright-peepers
1silkie- murray
1quail antwerp belgian-zippy
1 chipmunk chick (dunno)-odwalla

Ahhh...having chicken friends can be dangerous...you can always count on each other to enable and talk the other in to chicks and why it's okay to get more!

My husband went to the feed store today - and he said the second he walked in he could hear them... peep peep peep peep

then he called ME so I could hear the peeping going on....

He read off all that they had, including ducks - but I could NOT get him to budge and bring some home -

He said to me, oh you're welcome to go and take a look at them as well - but don't dare bring any home....

yes, I did NOT go to the feed store today

am sure I would have brought home something that tugged at my heart

am trying to talk myself OUT of going down and looking at the "ameraucana" -- probably really EEs -- chicks when they come in on the 3rd or 4th

I can have chickies here for a few months, but they cannot go OUTSIDE here, and I have yet to find a fellow chicken nut who will let me keep them on her/his place

I went to Orscheln's again, and it's a good thing they only had the cornish cross. Otherwise I would have been in trouble.....
