Feed Tests - More Results

That's because the bags after they are filled goes on a conveyer belt and go under a UV light that injects the medication at a molecular level so it can get through the bag. Not all bags are exposed to the light.
Hmmm....and all this time I thought you were supposed to follow the light!:hmm:hmm

Thank you! I truly don't remember participating in that thread at all, but am definitely here for it! Lol I did experience a brief halt in laying when I tried switching feeds (same brand, just went from 20% starter crumbles to 17% all flock pellets and then back again lol), but I figured it was the change in protein levels between the feeds and not that the feed itself was contaminated or anything lol.
It could just be the change in feed, period, especially if a different brand and/or change in ingredients. I don't know scientifically (i.e. studies) with chickens, but I know for many other animals (dogs, cats, horses - all mammals, though, on this list) that sudden change in diet is hard for them and it takes a few weeks for the microbiome in their gut to adapt, so even if the feed was similar in nutritional content, but made up of different ingredients/different ratio, they might not be extracting full nutritional value right away - that would affect laying as well, short term.

Thoughts anyone on this speculation??

sorry in advance for offending anybody.

Doesn't what is often called "The left" support the labs?
if you were getting money from a government, and knew that if you let out their secret your business would probably go down the drain, would you let out the secret?
Common logic: no. You would not let out that secret.
@Kiki did you do the test yourself? i highly doubt it, since hardly anybody has that kind of technology.
The labs could have easily just lied, since there was few ways of proving them wrong.
Midwest lab is private, not gov affiliated. They have no skin in the game to lie.

Fair point! I decided to try the all flock out since I also have ducks, but when they stopped laying (and seemed to lose weight too!) I switched back. It also could have been a whole host of outside factors- colder temps, shorter days, etc. that also coincided with the timing of the feed switches 🤷🏼‍♀️

Like, I get what your saying but I hope you realize how paranoid that sounds.
Would you believe most government workers are good, honest people?
Funny how no one asks that about the vloggers spreading the bad info....
Instead it's
"you wave at the post man, a government employee, you must be in league with the government"
Its definitely not paranoia, its lack of trust of something that cares about money not people.
I never said I follow the vloggers? Either I don't know or care about them. This happen To Me. Again I am not here to "convince" you either way all I know and believe is it happened to me and big corporations have been know to have gotten caught lying or having issues because they only care about money 🤷🏼‍♀️

None are so blind as those who dismiss the evidence of their senses and the product of their rational thought that they might instead succor their fevered imaginings.

I really love this!

Yet I must quibble...
their rational thought

assumes facts not in evidence. :p

@Aunt Angus I'm still blown away at how you stepped up to the plate.

The thread that you posted in, the reason why you were tagged here, was the thread where everybody was claiming their feed was poisoned or some equally as retarded. The test results prove it wasn't.
But they won't admit it even with facts. They like their rabbit holes.
