I'm so excited I'm gonna set some of my own lav eggs and also some of my Cochin eggs! The silkies are gonna be able to sit on something finally....gonna build the broody pens this evening woohoo...fall hatching has begun! Wish it would get cooler.

I'm paitently waiting for my first black silkie chicks from my new pair to hatch. I've got a while though! I am thinking the first ones are due around the 4 of October. I can't remember though as somehow I have 3 seperate settings from that pair. Wish something would go broody again right now so I can stick the eggs there. Most of my hens are raising chicks.
