I've never really seen anything wrong with peanut butter, i've heard peanuts shouldn't be fed but if i remember correctly that was due to chemicals used on crops. I wouldn't think they would eat peanut butter really, but never tried it to see.

What about Wheatgrass? That is the superfood of all superfoods! I am growing flats of wheatgrass for my hens and will rotate them in as they are eaten. I have read great things about feeding wheatgrass and i hear they go nuts over it. Much better than the lawn.

when we have baked potatoes, i cook extras for the ladies, do them just like you would for humans minus the butter and put plain yogurt and chives on them. they gobble them down faster than the human kids.

I live in Florida and my chickens LOVE live fresh lizards .the girls and the roo chase each other around until one gets the chance to swallow it down whole ,my smallest girl has been seen to eat at least 2 back to back

Peanuts should be on there because they are super tasty and if you give them the nuts in the shell they have fun breaking them apart, I think that even might stimulate their brain...... or lack there of.

You mean the little containers of grass that cats like to eat? I think that's wheat grass. If you planted it outside, it would probably sprout & grow, but wouldn't take real cold weather very well. Might take a long time to get around to sprouting. It's easy to start inside though.

Yah I am going to save growing outside for the spring/summer. I think I will make a garden box for that. Like chicksrule1 said it is good for the chickens and even for the dog! The question is how long will it last? With my luck they probably won't eat it, but at least it is pretty
