Feedback on Learning Center "Treats Chart"

Pics
I just noticed on the "Toxic plant page" http://www.poultryhelp.com/toxicplants.html that cabbage is toxic, "CABBAGE (Brassica sp.); leaves; plant is goitrogenic (affects Thyroid Function)" but it is on the treat chart. I also saw that Kale is on the toxic plant list! Ugh!

Any input

Swiss chard is a member of the cabbage family - and my hens have a few leaves for a treat in the summer (when I don't eat all I grow)

Is anyone who knows anything actually reading this thread?

I am no expert, but people I know that have been keeping large-ish flocks of chickens for years don't hesitate to feed their birds cabbage, kale, chard whatever...
It seems that you can find a lot of things listed as toxic. I know that in humans, eating foods from the cabbage family exclusively raw is not a good idea for the thyroid, but in moderation is fine.
I don't think I would worry about my bird keeling over from eating cabbage...and it is not something I feed them every day, either...

On the "Don’t feed the following things to your chickens" list, could this be added?

"Corn with any mold, even if you cut mold off. -- Unseen mold can also be in other parts of corn. Causes internal fungus that results in slow starvation."

I came to find out how devastating such mold can be through painful experience and extensive research.

I posted some of the troubles my chickens had on a thread at https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=253587&p=1
If
anyone needs info, I posted some on treating this fungus at https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=358625&p=2
