Feeding baby chicks

Ive just bought some silkie chicks 3 are 1-2 weeks old 1 is 4 weeks old, Im feeding them chick crumbles which im softening with water. At what age will be right to have them just dry. Also at what stage would be they be ok to start having scraps and what scraps are best to start with?

If i can get a decent pic i will try and post it but they are darn cute.

Oh one more thing. At what age will they be right for me to start leaving the heat light off in the day time? and then the night time?

I've always just fed mine dry, I usually get mine at 3 days of age.

I just fed them dry right from the beginning.
I used the heat lamp until the temperature in the air was the same as they needed with the heat lamp. But we had them inside with the air conditioning for a little bit. But once it was 80-90 outside and we just had the house opened up, I turned it off. The 2nd chick only had it at night when it got cooler.

Cheers, MIght start giving them dry stuff from tomorrrow then, Just wasnt sure with the little ones. But sounds liek they will be ok now.
