feeding bread to 8 week old chics

i feed my 8 week old chicks bread almost every day but only in moderation like 3 slices of bread among 8 chicks along with chic starter feed is that ok or should i cut it down to less days per week

A lot of people on BYC feed 10% of the feed as treats. Keep in mind that white bread has little or no nutrition so if you want to help your chickies out then whole wheat bread is VERY nutritious. I include wheat as part of my feed and it is a genuinely valuable thing to feed chickens.

I think it will be fine with the amount of treats your feeding your chickens.
