Feeding chickens corn

Well, I'm learning everything in Portuguese, but they appear to be Dominiques- she lays 2 a day some days (I've been marking them) as does my black hen (a blue egg- she laid 2 yesterday, 1 today.) We have a Turken who lays 1 every day faithfully and what my husband calls yellow hens, which I do not see in any chart, who lays 1 a day.

Wow~! I'm impressed that mine usually give me 1 a day each, big ones at that. I would think 2 would wear them out!

I smile when I think about all the chicken "moms" that the chicks only see over the top of the brooder (myself included,) no wonder most chickens are less than intelligent!

Corn is perfectly fine to feed your chickens.

I like to sprinkle it so they can scratch about it during the day. Make 'em work for it.
