Can I feed my chickens cucumbers? I have been given 3 big cucumbers but won't use them all so thought maybe my chickens might eat them!!!

Yes!!! You can definitely feed your chickens veggies. They especially like things like apples, tomatoes, and peaches. But NEVER feed a chicken citrus.

Our local fruit stand donates their almost bad fruit. We were so excited about our free food supplement, but after about 2 weeks we realized we too much of a good thing can be bad. We overfed them fruit and they weren't eating their grains anymore. Their eggs became very fragile and they were either broken in the box and some of the chickens weren't laying at all. It took about 2 weeks of oyster shell, meal worms and grazing to recover. Fruit is fine for them! Just like everything else though, do it in moderation.
