feeding chicks real food

when is it ok for me to feed my chicks peopke food/table scraps? mine are 3 weeks old now abd growing like crazy!

You can feed them left overs, but keep in mind that salty food and too much salt is very bad for chickens. Give them cooked rice and other starchy foods as a treat now and then and small amounts, so the bulk of their diet is still their chick crumbs. Also give them some grit when feeding anything other than chick crumbs to help them break the food down. If you cannot find chick grit sprinkle some clean, coarse sand over their food.

I start introducing new things to them around this time. But I try to make sure that it is chick sized, and easily digestible.
