Feeding Chicks

Hi i have had so many silkie chicks die on me. What would be the best feed for silkie chicks or regualr chicks. And also what is a good thing to feed chicks to get them off to a good start. Or what should i do to get them off to on a good start with life.

Sorry you've had so many die. Where are you keeping them? Do they have a heat lamp?

I feed mine Blue Seal 22% protein crumbles. I feed them dry in feeders and in tops of egg cartons (pulp ones without holes) and also put warm water in it to make mash in a little dish for them twice daily. Haven't lost a chick, yet.
