Lone survivor

I have a lone survivor silkie chick. The others failed to thrive and despite my best efforts passed away.
I don't think I'll be able to find more silkie chicks, they were the last ones and they aren't popular where I am. Should I buy a different type of chick to keep her company? I am worried she will get picked on, but I don't want her stressed either.

I'll see if I can find any, it's early for chicks here and selection is limited.

If you can't find more Silkies other bantam breeds might be an option, or more docile standard breeds like Orpingtons, Faverolles, etc. if bantams in general are hard to find.

I ended up finding a very shy blue cuckoo moran chick that was being bullied by its mates. She is perfectly docile and seems grateful to be with my silkie. Thanks for your help!
