Feeding day old quail

Hi all
What is best to feed day old quail chicks ?
I'm using quail crumble that doesn't contain rumensin for my older quails . It's a high protein game bird feed . Would this b OK for chicks too?

I add hard boiled eggs, minced and dried meal worm, crushed to the mash.

its not a necessity to feed gamebird feed, I feed my quail non-medicated turkey starter from start to finish, poultry starter works to but the protein% is not so high, I think it is 21% and the turkey starter is 26%
