Feeding Dogs!

A friend of mine was told by the Animal Welfare League (mobile vet australia) that her now 8yr-old Sheltie would not require any more vaccines as a dogs' immunity was fine by said age. In my city dog registration is cheaper if the dog is desexed and I'm pretty sure the registration is lifelong.
Bought land one county over near everything but discovered they limit pets to two cats or dogs or one of each per address (indoor only pets) $50 yearly city registration per pet, rabies vacs, spayed, neutered or a letter from a vet exempting surgery.Dogs, cats leash only outdoors. Trying to sell it now..

So you can’t even have a fenced yard and let them run around in it? WTF lol

That's ridiculous - to have to register a pet. I also didn't realize there were higher fees for intact vs non intact, that's crazy too.

Back in our fostering days, when we lived on acreage in the country, we had an average of 24 fosters at any time, in addition to our own 6. No restrictions or limitations. All were well cared for and properly vetted of course so there was never any concern about neglect, etc. In fact the neighbors would come over when we acquired new fosters to see what we got and it was such a lively, fun place to hang out. Miss those days. Geez I feel old.
