Feeding eggs to my flock

I have read on other posts that you can scramble eggs and feed them to your baby chickens, but are they ok for baby ducks too? i have them together in the coop and want to make sure! Also, in the wild, ducks eat fish from a lake. when they get bigger can i put goldfish in their little 'pond' for them to catch? Please let me know!

Liveducks.com says it's a go on the eggs! My chicks LOVE the scrambled egg treats they get. When I eat eggs, I usually do 1 whole egg, w/ 2 whites, & then scramble the yolks for the birds. They also love any veggie trimmings, etc. Just make sure the treats aren't keeping them from filling up MOSTLY on their commercial feed. You could do goldfish, but for going "cheep" ( I'm ALL ABOUT that!) use A FEW minnows from the bait store, or "feeders" (might be rosy reds or lil comets) from the pet store. I've been tossing around the idea of getting some after-Easter ducklings from our local state park which gets flooded with them every spring, but think we'll take on that endeavor next year... I'm loaded with chicks right now...

Most ducks are mainly vegetarian.
They DO eat a lot of insects and worms

Some breeds like Mergansers eat a lot of fish, but most don't​

Oh. i didnt know that. i figured all ate fish. i read somewhere else that they eat slugs. Thanks!
