Feeding info

I'm new to chickens and I was wondering what should I feed my road island chickens and how much so I get best results. Thanks

Hello and Welcome To BYC! Depends on how old they are, usually you want to feed chicks a Chick Starter /Grower food and then change over to a Layer food when they are around 18 weeks old or they start laying eggs. Usually chickens are free-fed, or you keep food in front of them all the time.
