Feeding kitchen scraps to my flock

I dont have an issue with them eating chicken tho personally... after all if you have a dead cow in the middle of the field, the cows will avoid it. Put a dead chicken in the field and the chickens wil beeline right to it. Cows werent meant to eat meat, so they shouldnt have it in their feed. Chickens eat anything and everything, from drywall to paint, from roadkill to pellets. They will eat any meat they can get...

So I give them my leftover chicken that I dont finish... it doesnt go to waste. They wont get sick from it

It is quite interesting tho... we did a test one day to see what was favored most when we cleaned out our freezer. I cooked up some of the frozen chicken, ground beef, lamb etc....and the chicken was unanimously gone after first by the girls.

See they know they taste good lol
