I have some large mealworms (purchased for my gecko)- can my week olds eat these? I know they can't have a lot of treats, but am mostly asking in reference to them choking if I give them creepy crawlies while they are this small. I offered a few tiny pieces of carrots and oatmeal today, but they weren't interested.

Thanks!

We fed our two day old chicks some full size crickets today. These aren't normal
chicks. They were playing tug-o-war with the crickets. It was amazing.
I feed my chicks whatever they will eat. Some will eat ground oatmeal out of
my hand while others just ignore me.

It all depends on the chick.

My chicks go nuts over crickets, they chase each other around to try and snatch the cricket from the other one.
