My DD's silkies just started laying this week and they have still have a 1/2 bag of chick starter/grower left! (why couldnt they start before I bought it
) Is it ok to keep them on it until the bag is finished? I have started supplimenting with scrambled eggs with crushed up egg shell in it and they get boss regularly and greens. I can't afford another bag of food yet. Is there anything else I should be doing?
