Hi I generally own Pekin Batams and have decided to go the whole hog and I got a trio of dark barred plymouth rocks.
They are lovely massive but lovely natured.
My question is they dont seem to eat much.
I have given them seed mixed in with oats, grapes, pasta with scrambled egg, different types of seed and they eat it but they never really finish it.
My pekins I have 10 hens and one rooster eat about 3 - 4 times a day
I found lice on the plymouth roo so I have treated him for that otherwise they seem in good health.
These birds are the size of turkeys so I have assumed they eat bulk or am I wrong?
Thanks in advance for any responses

Just curious but what is your question?

It seems you are asking why your new birds are not eating as much? I would try to limit there meals to a very basic and blan meal and get them eating. They will not starve themselves. Then introduce 1 or 2 things every week or so. They will live with just plain old chicken food and scrapes.

Steve
