Hey all, couple questions about duck food. This weekend I had drill and had to leave my baby alone for 2days, and I come back and he has virtually no food left, and this morning he ate the rest of it. I don't get paid until tomorrow so I won't be able to purchase feed today for him so what can I substitute for food for him for the day so he still get his nutrients(he's only about a month and a half old I believe) I don't want to give him only lettuce today that can't be good for him. Should I give him a few feeder fish? Or any common household food item ideas?
Also, I called around some feed stores today to get quotes on how much they sell feed for, and some of them told me that after 8weeks they can get off of starter feed, and some said to continue giving it to him. So when I go tomorrow to buy him duck food should I get more duckling feed or adult feed, or if it exists, something for in the middle? Also, if he is going to be taken off duckling feed soon when should I do that? I'm leaving for the Army for about 5-6months next week and I need to know to let my boyfriend know so he buys the right stuff. I can't leave it up to him to do research, he'd probably buy lizard food and call it a day lol.
