Looks like the bluebirds have decided to build in the Martin house lol.

Much better than having house sparrows nest in a bluebird house or starlings nesting in a martin mansion.

I never saw any until I moved out here. They are annual visitors. They even used to nest here until the wind took out the trees their nests were in.

I saw an indigo bunting today! Too bad it didn't stick around.
But.. a few Martins have shown up
No bird pics.. but blooms are ok here too right?

Haven't seen the Phoebe on her nest in two days. Don't know if something killed her or if there is something wrong with the eggs. Last year the male got killed and she left her first nest. Another male appeared, and she raised two broods.

I've seen an Indigo bunting, but don't have a photo, it flew away before I could get a shot.

Beautiful! I've never seen pure white columbines before! I grew up in Colorado, so columbines are dear ro my heart
