Feeding Wild Birds

4 jakes and a very pregnant doe feeding in the backyard.
Flemington, nicknamed 'circle city', has three traffic circles within a mile of one another. The largest, main circle has a large retention pond filled with cattails and surrounded by grass/lawn. Saw a pair of Canada geese with a half dozen or more goslings there. Going to be tricky for them to grow up and survive all the traffic.

I think I mentioned we saw a Canadian goose pair bring their young to the water for the first time a couple weeks ago. The goslings had to be a day or two old. Little fluff balls.

I figured they swam down stream and would not be able to come back up stream for a while. Well, they came back yesterday. Such a cute family! 6 babies. We did get pictures this time, but they are on the big camera. I'll have to wait for DH to get them on a computer so I can share.

I can’t wait to see!

Introducing the goose family. A little hard to see since they are on the other side of the river. We zoomed in the best we could.
