Feeding Wild Birds

Growing up. The first brood of Phoebes is now sitting in the shade of the front porch - pooping on the chairs and feeding on the side lawn.

I downloaded the Merlin app last night. There's a bird I hear every summer that I didn't know what it was. It identified a wood thrush which I had never seen but I always hear them!

Two days ago a pair of wood thrushes were feeding on the ground beneath the home feeder. First time that I have seen them do that.

The barred owls were having a lengthy conversation today. This is the first time I’ve had confirmation that I still have more than one of them in a while.

My bluebird family
Their house is only about 30 ft from where we sit a lot in the evening. They don't mind us at all.. they sit and hang out on the fence right by us.

Aww how many in that clutch? Do you feed them bird seeds?
