Feeding Wild Birds

Why are juvenile starlings so onary? 😩 They yanked the morning glories off the plant yesterday. Do they eat flowers?

We saw the eagle today, had 6 grosbeaks at the feeder this morning, the squirrels and doves are back in force and I even had a crow here. Haven't seen many Steller Jays, and we usually have a ton of those, and not one purple finch at all and we were seeing several of those 2 weeks ago, but it seems some of the wildlife is slowly returning.

Everyone is still pretty quiet out there.

A sparrows nest got blown out of our tree. I was going to throw it away after I checked it over and nothing was in it. I thought to check it over again and dug in it a little bc it was a really big bunch of stuff. Good thing I did, there were 3 babies in it! I set the nest in a hanging planter and the parents have been tending to them for a few days. I think they’re getting ready to fledge today bc all 3 are outside the nest in the planter hanging out
